Marko Mrcic

Marko was the moving spirit of the Mrcic family to buy beautiful gulet Libra. The family is in various types of service industries for over 30 years; they have owned restaurants, clubs, and they still own excursion boats and luxury vacation villa. As Marko has always been devoted to the sea, he has been skippering on their family boat and in the bareboat charter. When Marko heard that Libra was for sale back in 2013, he was sure that it was the right yacht for him. Experienced sailor, in love with the Adriatic coast, completely service and client-orientated, Marko is an exemplary captain/owner. Marko speaks English, has detailed knowledge of the area, dynamic and welcoming he will suggest to his clients the best ideas, activities, and programs.

DECKHAND/ RELIEF CAPTAIN
Karlo Mudnic

Karlo graduated from the School of Civil Engineering and Geodesy and became a construction technician. After working in electronic equipment businesses, Karlo decided to step up and move his career further by working on charter boats to improve his maritime and hospitality skills. Being a true team player and fluent in English he quickly became a valuable part of Libra’s crew. In his free time and for over 15 years, Karlo has been volunteering at Scout club “Split” where he greatly assists in conducting team meetings, organizing a youth scout program, scout camps, logistics, and administrative work.

Antonio Misicin

Even during his high school education in Culinary school in Split, Antonio has been a part of the team in the kitchen of Hotel Radisson Blue in Split, where he continued to work for the next 2 seasons after receiving a professional chef's diploma (2015). Leaving an outstanding mark there, Antonio was invited to join Yellow Tree - a new, fine dining restaurant, located at the seaside in front of Diocletian's Palace. Summer 2017 Antonio spent as a chef on board of newly built mini cruiser. After that experience, Antonio was determined that his path is to present his professional skills to a smaller group of clients on an intimate level and personal approach. When he received an invitation to join Libra, Antonio saw an opportunity to showcase his full potential, skill, and love of culinary art. Another detail was important to Antonio when he chose Libra for his playground: Libra's galley is opened, placed in the salon which provides easy communication with guests, especially with those interested in getting some of Antonio's cooking tips, secrets of the trade, recipes or simply to watch him create his magic. Antonio's inspiration comes from locally produced, seasonal, and fresh ingredients.

Ljubica Kovacevic

Ljubica graduated as a Teacher but her love for the sea introduced her to yachting and she enjoys it since this type of work greatly differs from everyday life. Yachting industry enables her to meet new places, people and different cultures all the while acquiring new skills and experiences. She is sociable, cheerful, optimistic and diligent worker and always approaches guests with a welcoming smile. With cocktail making experience, Ljubica goes the extra mile to deliver high standards wanting to provide the guests with best experience possible and a desire to return again. She is fluent in English, Spanish and French. In her spare time Ljubica enjoys drinking coffee, sports, languages, horse riding and writing. She loves the sea, summer and everything connected to it.

Nikola Miscin

Nikola, a 22-year-old deckhand, has a strong connection to the sea, following in the footsteps of his father and brother, both sailors. Fluent in English, Nikola is in his second season working on a ship, where he enjoys the experience of sailing the most. His passion for the ocean led him to choose this career, and he aims to become a skipper in the future.

1. GROSS CHARTER FEE

Includes: Accommodation for a maximum of 12 guests in 6 cabins, the crew of 4 and their expenses, insurance of the yacht, fuel for 4 h of engine work daily, generator work 24/7, fuel for tender transfers to/from the vessel, the use of recreational equipment, tourist taxes, Wi-Fi, VAT of 13%.

2. FOOD OPTIONS
Half board: 490 € guests/week, 70 € per guests/day (breakfast + lunch or dinner)
Full board: 730 € guests/week, 110 € per guests/day (breakfast + lunch + dinner)

Discounts on food options for children: from 0-2 years of age free of charge, from 2-10 years of age -50% discount from 10 - 12 years of age - 30% discount.
Extra meal charge: 50 € guests/meal.

3. BEVERAGE OPTIONS
A) All-inclusive beverages package - includes Croatian quality wines, beers, spirits, soft drinks, natural and mineral water, coffee, tea, and juices – 280 € guests/week, 40 € guests/day.
B) All-inclusive non-alcoholic beverages package – 140 € guests/week, 20 € guests/day.

The beverage options include beverages produced or bottled in Croatia. The charterer is allowed to bring beverages on board regardless of the chosen option. Additional beverages can be supplied on behalf of the charterer at the charterer's request.
The Charterer will advise prior to the charter on selected food and beverage options. This cost is to be paid with the charter balance.

4. EXTRA COSTS
- Port, marina fees, and anchorages
- National Park and Park of Nature entrances
- Dubrovnik visit fee on Split – Split route: 1,200 €
- Delivery Fee for embarkation/disembarkation in any other port except base port, if "empty leg" caused, e.g., one way from Split to/from Dubrovnik: 1,200 €
- Extra navigation: 70 €/h (This cost is already included in the Delivery and Dubrovnik Visit Fee)
- Fuel for tender-operated watersports
- Any other costs not specifically mentioned as included (e.g. transfers to or from the yacht/hotel/airport, shore excursions, guided tours, adverse activities such as scuba diving, big game fishing, rafting, etc.)

OPTIONAL - APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance): 3,000 €
A fixed APA of 3,000 € is suggested to cover additional costs not included in the charter fee, such as the mentioned extra costs, shipping agents' fees, customs fees, and any special services or activities requested by the Charter Party during the charter. The APA simplifies the payment process for extra costs, ensuring the client doesn't need to worry about bringing or managing cash at the end of the week. Any unused portion of the APA will be refunded to the Charterer after the charter. If expenses exceed the fixed amount, any additional costs will be settled directly with the captain on board. The APA is optional, but if the client chooses not to pay it, they must ensure they have sufficient cash to cover all expenses at the end of the week.

NOTE: Gratuities/tips for the crew are not included, the industry’s standard is 10% to 15% of the base charter rate, given at the Charterer’s discretion.

OPTION REQUESTS POLICY

OPTION REQUEST

An option is placed only upon explicit written request and is valid until a clearly specified date and time, which will be communicated in our confirmation email.
We do not notify brokers when an option has expired or when a yacht is no longer available (e.g., placed under option or booked).
We do not accept multiple options for the same client across different yachts simultaneously.
PEAK SEASON POLICY: “First Come, First Served”

Due to high demand during peak booking season, we may apply a “first come – first served” policy. In these cases:
Options are placed only when the client accepts the charter offer and requests the charter contract.
The intent is to finalize the booking (have the charter agreement signed and the deposit paid) within the 2–3 day option window.
This ensures fair opportunity for all clients and encourages prompt decision-making.
