Eda Çağlar
It’s my privilege to share a unique pampered Caribbean experience aboard Abundance, with splendid yacht accommodations, and an itinerary customized to your needs.
Captain Blaine is a licensed US Coast Guard captain, experienced PADI Divemaster and airplane pilot. He began sailing at age ten when he first learned about his love for sailing and exploring the sea. This was further inspired by a close relative that circumnavigated. Blaine has sailed extensively throughout the Caribbean and Mediterranean and has explored most of the Caribbean leeward and windward islands aboard Abundance. This is Blaine's fifth season on Abundance as term charter Owner/Operator. He knows the best spots for diving, fishing, adventure, hiking, fun or solitude.
Prior to his life aboard Abundance, Blaine grew up on a farm and ranch in Montana. He has a background in Electrical/Software Engineering and spent over twenty years in the Cybersecurity industry. Blaine loves meeting new friends, swapping stories, hosting adventure trips and getting fresh catch for dinner.

Chef Eda
I started sailing after graduated from university in Istanbul. I enrolled in a sailing school and after I completed education, I attended many races like in
shore and off shore with a team all around Turkey. To better understand the rules I became a sailing referee, and just after that I founded a women's
sailing team in Bodrum called “Sultans of the Sea” and we sailed between Turkish and Greek islands and won some trophies
When I started sailing races, the attraction of the sea led me to explore one step more each time. While hosting my guests on the yacht, I love sharing the Mediterranean cuisine blended with fresh vegetables and quality ingredients of the region most of the time.
If I were to sum up what I've learned and observed about being a yacht chef over all these years; practical recipes to prepare on yachts, develop my own fine dining menus that I apply to galley environment, processes that allow me to build complete confidence in myself so that I master the management of any galley.
Since I grew up on Mediterranean cuisine, I have always been happy to discover different cuisines. As someone who has been observing and living
the food world professionally many years, I can say that Mediterranean cuisine is my favourite if we look more deeply into Med food which is the
healthiest cuisine, It emphasis on fresh, whole foods, healthy fats, and plant based ingredients has been linked to numerous health benefits.
I think my guests will rave about my galley seafood paella, moussaka or mezze. Mezze is the name for a number of small dishes or appetizers served
before a meal, often with a drink. Drinks include anise-flavored liqueurs, such as arak, ouzo, raki or different wines. These dishes are similar to the tapas of Spain or finger food. Cooking of different varieties of Mezze with fresh olive oil and seasonal vegetables and green plants dishes. Guests also enjoy my local Caribbean-style Creole cooking along with other international meals.
YACHT DESCRIPTION This Fountain Pajot cat, a Helia model, born under the sign of the sun, is a clever blend of elegance and space.
Its deck and large aft cockpit enable guests to enjoy cruising or sailing where everybody can find their place.
The 2 queen cabins are ample and well-lit, each with a separate toilet and shower.
