Captain Jure Grbić and his crew of seven exceptional professionals are dedicated to delivering a fully tailored and authentic yachting experience to each guest. With their knowledge of the Adriatic archipelagos and the region's best-kept secrets, a sense of discovery is guaranteed at every turn. With a strong passion for yacht design and engineering, he has gained substantial experience managing new builds and refits, which made him an ideal candidate for the launch of M/S Adri. In addition to his Yacht Master 500GT license, Captain Jure is extensively trained in a variety of safety procedures, marine sustainability practices, as well as engine resource management. He was born in the Dalmatian harbor town of Split, so it is easy to see what inspired him to dedicate his life to the sea. Over his long career in yacht charters, he has mastered the Adriatic landscape and its secret corners inside out. Fluent in English and German, he is a resourceful advisor on how to make the best of Croatia’s thousand islands. Just as active in his spare time as when he is on duty, he is an avid fan of mountain climbing and motorsports of all sorts and enjoys spending time with his family, He is the proud father of the baby boy.

Gourmets with delectable palates are in for a real treat onboard M/S Adri, where Chef Eglibert Shehaj delights in the galley. Over the last ten years, he has worked as an executive chef on luxury yachts and in restaurants across Europe, from France and Portugal to Albania, Malta, and Norway. Chef Shehaj is an accomplished and energetic learner, and his diverse experiences make him very versatile. He specializes in Italian cuisine, fish specialties, and traditional Mediterranean cuisine. However, should you wish for French, Turkish, Mexican, vegan, or even sushi, Chef Shehaj will not be out of depth. Powered by a desire to create show-stopping dishes that combine flavors and textures of the region, he is not one to shy away from a challenge. In addition to a Sous chef Degree in Gastronomy from the Club of Albanian Cuisine Chefs, chef Shehaj also holds an MS in Public Administration from the Mediterranean University of Albania. There should be no miscommunications with this culinary wizard, as in addition to his native tongue, Albanian, he speaks fluent Italian, English, Spanish, and Serbian.

Welcoming you onboard M/S Adri is Ana Lisica, an experienced stewardess from the town of Zadar. Ana’s professional experience encompasses also accounting, banking, sales, and retail, but yachting turned out to be her passion. Over her years onboard, she has worked on yachts between 30 and 60 meters in size and has been across the Adriatic and the Mediterranean. Built from the bottom up, her expertise is versatile and thorough. She approaches all daily tasks with the ease of a well-versed professional and sets high standards, from immaculate housekeeping to stellar service, all to craft a superb experience for her guests. Her strengths, developed over years of working in teams, include coordination and work organization, as well as communication and orientation to detail. While the yachts she worked on were in static charters, she was a part of the planning and operations team that completed massive onboard events, from corporate gatherings to prestigious private celebrations for as many as 200 guests on the French Riviera. Coming from the coast, Ana has loved the sea and water activities since childhood. Today, after the completion of the season, she most enjoys traveling and hiking, long walks with her dog, as well as cooking and baking for her family.

Magdalena Mulic

Your second stew on board MY Adri, Magdalena, hails from Split, the heart of Dalmatia. After completing comprehensive high school studies in the First Classical Gymnasium, she enrolled in the Maritime Faculty and is currently in her junior year of Maritime Management. Driven and energetic, she has been working parallel to her studies. As a customer service representative, she became a skilled problem solver who listens carefully to guests’ wishes and then goes above and beyond to deliver an excellent experience. She became an authority on Central Dalmatia while leading day trips in Hvar, Vis, and Biševo, so you can ask her anything you want to know about that part of the Adriatic. After seasons spent on board a 30-meter yacht, Magdalena developed into a multitasking mag who always prioritizes the quality of her guests’ experience. Magdalena cheered for Split's basketball team and competed as a competitive dancer (in the nationals, too!) for a long time, so she is now the go-to person to organize dance parties during your yacht charter. She also enjoys taking on new challenges like rock climbing, scuba diving, and mountain climbing. Rarely the one to sit still, when she does, she enjoys drawn-out coffees on Split's magnificent Riva waterfront.

Kristijan Matijasevic

Born in Split, the heart of the Croatian coast, deckhand Kristian comes from a long lineage of seaman. Even as a young by, he spent a lot of time at sea, so choosing a seaman career felt very natural for him. After completing nautical high school in Split and graduating as a marine engineer, he continued learning and now holds a yacht master license 100 GT, as well as other STCW certificates, from first aid, survival craft, and rescue boat operations, to advanced firefighting. Over his ten years of working in nautical charters, he mastered a variety of skills that today make him a valued crew member onboard M/S Adri.

Luka Glumac

The young and sporty Luka Glumac is the deckhand on board MY Adri. Born in Split, Luka spent many childhood summers on the Zadar Riviera. It was already in those early years that knew he wanted to have a life that revolved around the sea. Never the one to shy away from a challenge, Luka embarked on a career in yachting immediately after graduating from Maritime High School. As someone who loves a dynamic lifestyle and brings joy to others, he found it to be a perfect environment to grow and develop. He has since worked as a deckhand on multiple yachts which ranged in size from 30 to 45 meters, and has cruised all around the Adriatic region. Energetic and professional, he is quick to help, and always at the disposal of guests and his team. Luka spent many high school summers renting out jet-skies and pulling tubes and bananas by a speedboat, so he’s at his happiest when he gets to take you on fun water adventures. His love for teamwork extends to sports as well. Big on futsal and soccer, Luka is true to his Dalmatian origins and an avid fan of Split’s soccer club Hajduk.
