CREW PROFILE

An exceptional crew of 4 provide elite service.

Owner Operator Michael Grauso leads the crew as Captain. As a dedicated and experienced boat captain, he has a deep passion for the open waters and the freedom of exploring new coastlines. Following his dreams and ambitions has lead him to a career in Southeast Alaska. Michael is enamoured by the landscapes and vastness that Tongass National Forrest provides.

With years of experience navigating through both calm and challenging waters, he prioritizes safety above all, ensuring that every journey is secure and enjoyable for everyone aboard. With a Master 200ton USCG License and also trained for CPR, AED, and First Aid he is not only skilled in handling vessels, but as well as wilderness safety. Michael also has a profound love for wildlife. Taking every opportunity to observe and protect the natural beauty that surrounds us. Whether it's fishing in tranquil bays or sharing memorable trips with family and friends, he cherishes the bonds formed on the water. The adventures are driven by a desire to discover hidden gems along the coast while promoting respect for nature and the importance of environmental conservation.

Ari
Chef

Ari trained in classical French technique before spending years cooking at farm-to-table restaurants where local sourcing wasn't a marketing tag. It was the job. On Oceana, that means fresh-caught halibut the same afternoon it comes off the line, Dungeness crab pulled from pots in the morning, and produce sourced from Juneau-area farms when the season allows. Every meal is built around what's available and what guests want: dietary restrictions, preferences, and the occasional special occasion are all handled without fuss. There's no fixed menu. There's a galley, a skilled chef, and whatever Southeast Alaska provides that day.

Matt
First Mate

Matt, born in Florida and raised in a military family, grew up with the water in his blood — his father was a captain in the Coast Guard. He started as a mate on fishing charter boats in the Chesapeake Bay, then launched his own commercial crabbing operation selling to local seafood markets in Maryland before entering the yachting industry. With six years of experience as a mate and a lifelong angler, Matt knows the best spots for fishing, snorkeling, and every water activity the Bahamas and Caribbean have to offer. He brings that same instinct to Southeast Alaska: where to drop a line, how to read conditions, and how to make sure every guest gets the most out of the water. In his downtime, he surfs, wakeboards, dives, hunts, and fishes.

Lisa
Stewardess

Lisa grew up near the water in Cape May, New Jersey, and has spent her life following the ocean around the globe. She's sailed the Bahamas, Cuba, Italy, Greece, Thailand, and Newport, and has explored destinations from Dubai and Sicily to Ireland, Scotland, and Southeast Asia. A certified rescue scuba diver and experienced sailor, she brings genuine expertise on the water along with the kind of warmth and adaptability that sets a charter apart. Known for being friendly, reliable, and highly adaptable, Lisa runs the interior of Oceana with a global perspective shaped by decades of exposure to diverse cultures and hospitality standards. She's the reason every small detail is handled before guests notice it needs to be.

Pricing Terms

From: 65,000 per week
To: 70,000 per week

Per 7 24-hour days and nights, i.e. “8 days / 7 nights”:

Summer 2026: USD $65,000/week: June 15 – Sept. 15.
Summer 2027: USD $70,000/week: June 15 – Sept. 15.
For April 15 – June 14, please inquire.

Rates are “all inclusive” of the yacht, 4 crew (Captain, Chef, Stewardess and Mate/Engineer), fuel, meals, standard beverages, beer and house wines. Fishing, crabbing and shrimping are available (except halibut). Fishing licenses are included.

Additional are a customary crew gratuity at your discretion (15-20% advised for a stellar experience, scaled to service received) and hard liquor. Halibut fishing requires charter of a licensed sport fishing boat.

Charters begin and end at 12 Noon.

Most charters run between Juneau, Sitka and/or Petersburg, Alaska.

Itinerary options include cruising the spectacular fjords and tidewater glaciers of Tracy Arm or Endicott Arm.

If cruising in Washington State, taxes are additional.
