Crew Profile

Captain Sarel, originally from South Africa, grew up as a farm boy with a passion for the ocean. He loves surfing, fishing and finds any excuse to get salty. He even became a professional life-guard and part of the National Sea and Rescue squad in South Africa just to be around the ocean more.
For the last 10 years, he has sailed around the world crossing the Indian, Pacific and Atlantic oceans as a professional delivery and charter Captain. He has explored many remote destinations and has experienced warm-hearted feelings meeting new people and living their culture.
As captain, his objective is to deliver a once in a lifetime charter experience on and off the water. His guests will enjoy an unforgettable holiday full of memories that will last for ever.
Aly is half Chilean half Italian and this combination ignited a passion for cooking from a very early age. Aly grew up on a sailing boat in French Polynesia for the first 3 years of her life. This is where her connection with the ocean began and since then, she is been travelling around the world collecting recipes, and experimenting with different palates and flavors, always preferring fresh, colourful and modern, mixed with traditional, dishes.
Ally’s passion does not end with the meals she prepares. She is a Marine Biologist and loves everything related to the ocean, especially surfing and diving. Her travels have taken her to many exotic places. She has sailed Fiji, Kiribati, the Marshall Islands and French Polynesia. It was not until she dropped anchor 2 years ago in the Bahamas when she met Sarel and they started working together.
Aly is flexible with any specific dietary needs and restrictions and loves cooking any and all kinds of food. Her goal is happy tummies and to make sure that everyone around her has a great time on the ocean.
